Remember: echo chambers will re-enforce negativity

1. Getting into bitter echo chambers like Reddit

I don’t know anyone who isn’t radicalised against the opposite sex, bitter, and lonely, and not regularly on Reddit threads. I avoid the platform completely. Asking a bunch of anonymous, random accounts for information in a specific interest forum will only ever get you a response from people already in that chamber and distressed and upset. It’s toxic and it’s hateful. Anyone can make up anything, and twist or embellish anything. No statistic or study is going to be thoroughly and honestly reviewed in an angry forum: it’s insane stuff like only 10% of men get to have sex with women. They will tell you that their last wife demanded a sports car every time they had sex, cheated on them with 50 black men (just a genre staple, racists love this stuff), and ran off with a supermodel billionaire, and everyone will blindly believe it is true, instead of the fantasy of a sad warehouse worker called Jim who has never had a girlfriend in his life. It’s fanfic for losers. Don’t go near it: you’ll end up with a warped understanding of men or women and it will screw you up.
