I’ll keep this short, you’re all busy important men doing busy important things. But I’ve heard these so often from my friends that I think the only fair thing to do is to come out with it, and warn you that women go back to their group and roll their eyes at these terrible, terrible statements. If you already don’t do this, well done, good job, you’re beating the competition.

Hating other women is not a compliment

We’re not taking time out of our diaries and hanging out with you to listen to your dating anxieties or to slag off and generalise other women. We’re there to find a new partner. All this tells me is that you have misogynistic ideas about women that I don’t like, that you’re already on the defensive and closing yourself off to me, and that you have a transactional concept of dating and romance. Also don’t call us ‘females’. We’re not swans. Have this conversation with your bros or your therapist, if it’s really burning you up. Never bring it…
