There’s different ways to be a misogynist: but they tend to carry traits that continue into various scenarios and various contexts. Take this short quiz to work out whether you’re a decent guy, or in need of a quick reflection on whether you need to change the way you think about women.

1. You are invited by a friend to attend a lecture about Emperor Claudius and his grain policies and how they influenced the famine patterns around the empire. The professor is a woman. Do you;

a) Listen carefully and learn as much as you can about the subject of the lecture, before asking questions about the lecture that you aren’t sure you understand or have an interest in learning more about.

b) Check out her body and think about having sex with her, or wonder what she’s like in bed or looks like naked. Zone out while fantasising about it, and think about approaching her after the lecture for sex if you think she’s hot enough. If she’s not attractive, you look around the room to see if any other women turn you on.
