8 reasons the men I know can’t get a girlfriend, in order of likelihood
I have a wide range of male friends and acquaintances. Let’s go
1. He refuses to talk to or be friendly with women
This is by far the most common reason: he’s nice enough, he’s average looking, but he’s cripplingly and staggeringly shy. He would never talk to a woman in the friend group, be able to make eye contact with a woman asking him if he was from around here, or even start a discussion with a woman in Twitter. So many of my male friends get upset with ‘why women don’t like them’ and fail to realise women don’t know them. They don’t know who you are because you’re silent and removed in every interaction. Those women probably haven’t even registered that they even exist, because they’re lurking and hiding in the shadows. Stop confusing being creepy and arrogantly flirtatious with just being socially competent and present.
2. He expects women to make the first move
This one is probably the one that annoys me the most: he will like a bunch of profiles, sit alone in a cafe, or go to a nightclub, and then sit there alone like a spider waiting for a woman to come over and try to impress him. He will then feel despondent and hopeless when women…
