As ever, not always, and definitely not in every instance, in case you were planning on running to the comments and telling me that actually you flirt with and try to kiss your male friends all the time. Certainly in isolation most of these could be platonic. Because women are people; and people are different. But I hope this helps a bit.

I can normally tell whether a girl is into you from across the room

1. She texts and messages you a *lot*

This does not mean, in isolation, that she fancies you: I text my male friends loads and loads and that doesn’t mean anything. But yeah; I’ve never not had a huge crush on someone and not texted him regularly. A woman who isn’t at all interested in you will be in touch with you as little as possible. Bare in mind that if she’s asking you whether you chlorinated the pool correctly, she’s probably not hitting on you though: I mean stuff like asking how you are, what you’re up to, if you’ve seen the news and so on. You end up starting conversations you don’t need to have just to talk to them. So it’s a good sign if she does do this.
