We’ve all embarrassed ourselves while dating or going through heartbreak: I’m including myself in that. But sometimes, the universe gives us a good wake up call to just how ridiculous and creepy we look when we delude ourselves into believing our behaviour is romantic or acceptable. So I want to share this story with you so at least one woman, or man, might decide against sending that three minute voicenote through a shadow account.

My friend Henry (not his name) is 23, and a cheerful, nice, normal young lad who enjoys a good night out, and doing stuff with crypto that my eyes glaze over at whenever he tries to explain it to me. Henry is not looking for a wife right now, because he’s not a whacky evangelist in Utah, and he doesn’t think starting a family while barely out of school is a good idea. I utterly agree. Marrying too young and before you’ve got that promiscuity out of your blood is a bad move. Be like Henry, my young be-trousered readers. Don’t commit to marriage until you’re at least 25+, because almost everyone I know who did marry super young is now divorced or headed thus. Just be honest and kind in your casual sexual escapades. Your brain is still forming. Google it.
