I think if you're very slender, and very classically beautiful, you can pull off the ultra conservative, ultra chic, ultra neutral 'chanel' look- but the rest of us look really silly and sad trying to copy it! Best to dress how you like and enjoy it I think. I'm trying to unlearn the 'be neutral/be classy/be modest/be traditional/be humble' line of misogynistic thinking myself.
