I think that’s more you misunderstanding how international influence works than a conspiracy. Even the ancient Greeks and Romans had spies and politicians stationed abroad to manage intel and influence in their favour. It doesn’t mean the CIA created a totally artificial coup that never would have existed, it just means there was American support for the coup. Same as how Russia influenced the US elections.
