I’m endlessly told that we “western women” sleep with anyone who asks, drink constantly, have several illegitimate children, have blue hair, and live off alimony payments. I’m not sure where this weird pornographied, absurd distortion of reality comes from, but I’d like to take a moment to deconstruct it for our friends in the east, south, far south, and far east. Because it really is alarmist rubbish meant to convince you upholding your human rights and bodily autonomy is bad.
- We’re actually pretty boring in the bedroom. My salacious sex life with hundreds of orgies, one night stands and casual encounters…doesn’t exist. Sorry. Like most women, including all my friends, I’ve had a few long term relationships and I’d feel uncomfortable doing anything with someone I don’t know.
