The Doctrine according to Madelaine

1. You have to read the whole article before commenting.

The only rule that really matters. Nothing is more exasperating than seeing someone post “Actually some newts are green” when you have written 400 words on some newts being green, and the opening sentence points out that not all newts are brown. It is rude and a waste of my time. You don’t deserve a response if you’ve clearly failed basic comprehension.

Always read the article first before assuming the author is a moron

2. Absolutely never ‘hate follow’ people.

I have some dedicated haters following me, who vehemently disagree with every single thing I write and God, do they let me know about it, over, and over, and over. If you don’t like someone’s sense of humour, point of view, or work, just don’t follow them instead of trying to make their life a misery. It’s a free country, and manners are free too. Leaving snide disagreements under everything they write isn’t constructive, it’s just annoying.

3. If it isn’t Literally Nazism, stop calling things Literally Nazism.
