No, it isn’t easier for me to find love as a woman: I’d argue it’s harder

Make no mistake, a man wanting to fuck me doesn’t love me

Here’s a fact for you all: most men would have sex with you, if you’re a woman. The vast, 90%, majority. I’m so confident of this that if I decided I wanted to get laid tonight, I would literally just need to go outside. I doubt I’d even need to walk further than the end of the street before finding a man prepared to pull up my skirts and shag me in an alleyway.

But here is what bitter, lonely, resentful men don’t get: absolutely none of those men would love me, or be loved back.

I know hundreds and hundreds of men. Most of the men I encounter would have sex with me. They might dislike me, they might be totally indifferent to me, they might even absolutely hate me; but if I offered them secret, casual, no fee, no-one-will-know, one-off sex, they would say yes. That’s not unique to me: that’s just reality if you’re a woman under about 65. Men have an unbelievably low bar, in general, on casual sex. Before you call me bitter and cynical, that’s just my reality. Men in my experience are way less choosy and way more impulsive about sex: they just don’t worry about whether I’m going to rape them, sell…
