You’ve got a new suit. It fits you well: you feel confident and good about yourself as you put on your tie for the week ahead. You brush your teeth and comb your hair, and step out into the delirious heady blue skies of the world beyond. You walk down the road, feeling on top of the world. Suddenly, you hear a man’s voice behind you. You turn to see a red-faced man in his forties smiling at you.
“Hey,” the man says, again, “hey nice suit, gorgeous.” You look at him, unsure what to say. You smile, and turn back to the street. He calls out after you, a note of anger in his voice. “A thank you would be nice!” he says. “Or are you too good for me, dickhead?”
