Sure, meeting new people is hard and being rejected is emotionally challenging. But assuming a woman will never want you because you’re 5ft 8 or that she won’t think you are hot unless you get a six pack only harms you, in the long run. Turn it around: would you say I shouldn’t talk to a man I found attractive because I felt men thought I was too tall? It’s just an excuse not to try. You can’t go through life assuming that every woman you meet wants something you have made up in your head.
