Red flags and wasting your time
Are you being too choosy, or are you forcing something that isn’t going to work out? I’ll do this as a list or we will be here forever, but hopefully this will unpack some of the myths, absurdities and questions around dating. Obviously this goes for all sexualities and genders, this is as true for women you date as men, but as most of my audience is straight women, forgive me if I stick to F/M.
1. He’s nice, but you didn’t sense a clear attraction.
Sure, he’s fine. No complaints. He’s attractive enough. He didn’t say anything bad or struggle to hold a conversation with you. But it was a bit…fine. You don’t really want to kiss or touch him, and he didn’t really want to either. You aren’t checking your phone to see if he’s followed you on instagram or said good morning. You can’t really remember what you talked about. He didn’t seem that into you either. I’d get straight in front of the bullet and send a nice message saying you had a good time…
