Your facts don’t just have feelings: they’re almost definitely racist

How you’re misreading medical data through social bias

CW: This article addresses racial stereotypes in medicine and social planning that are highly bigoted and offensive.

Black men are ‘psychotic and stupid’. Women are ‘irrational, intellectually inferior and over-sensitive’. Middle Eastern men are ‘abusive and sexually incontinent’. Black women are ‘disruptive, and violent.’ Bisexual women are “parentally traumatised and promiscuous.” I mean, your ‘science’ says so, right? We’ve all seen your ‘science’. And I’d be really stupid to try and argue against medical and statistical data, wouldn’t I? Right?

Well, for starters, your ‘science’ sucks.

Almost all these ‘scientific’ studies (good grief) that ‘prove’ a low demographic IQ, low academic performance, high criminality, or poor social skills, are based off a really warped and obvious social bias. They ignore or even completely fail to recognise social vectors and factors such as poverty, bigotry, persecution, workload, generational trauma and yes, personal racism. Any decent social scientist and medical anthropologist will tell you that you can’t remove socio-economic and cultural factors from biological, genetic, or behavioural data.
